ATELIER CHUKS COLLINS
Bespoke
Built entirely from scratch. New patterns created specifically for
each client , designed by hand, by artisans, and remembered.
A bespoke garment from Chuks Collins is not an alteration or an adjustment. It is a garment conceived, drafted, and constructed around one individual, from the first conversation to the final stitch. Every pattern is original. Every fitting refines the silhouette. The result is something that belongs only to you.
THE PROCESS
Six stages. One garment. Entirely Yours.
Consultation
We begin with a conversation, your occasion, your aesthetic, how a garment should feel on your body. This meeting, held in person or virtually, establishes the creative direction and scope of the commission. There are no catalogues. Only dialogue.
Design Development
From consultation notes, sketches are developed that translate your vision into silhouette, proportion, and detail. This is a collaborative stage, designs are refined together until every line, closure, and structural element reflects intention.
Fabric Selection
Fabric is chosen to match the design's demands and the client's sensibility, weight, drape, texture, origin. Chuks Collins sources from heritage mills and specialist suppliers, ensuring each cloth meets the standard the garment requires.
Pattern Creation
A new pattern is drafted from your individual measurements, not adapted, not graded. The pattern is the architecture of the garment, and in bespoke work, it belongs exclusively to you. It is retained in the atelier for future commissions.
Multiple Fittings
The garment is constructed in stages, with each fitting used to sculpt the cloth closer to the body. Shoulders are balanced, lines are corrected, ease is refined. This is the craft that separates bespoke from everything else, the human hand verifying what no algorithm can.
Final Delivery
The completed garment is pressed, finished, and presented. Every seam, buttonhole, and lining has been executed by hand. What you receive is not simply a garment, it is a record of a collaboration between designer, pattern maker, and client.
"The Atelier is the heart of Chuks Collins. A place where craftsmanship, storytelling, and personal expression come together through garments created with intention."
