A codex is an ancient manuscript — bound, structured, holding the accumulation of a civilisation's knowledge. Architecturally precise, the CODEX is a large-format tote with dual top handles and a concealed convertible backpack strap system: two modes of carry for two modes of being. At the lower corner a fan of curved slash cuts introduces quiet ancestral intelligence, and tonal fringe falls from the same corner — understated until the bag moves. The same architecture in the green of the Iroko. In Yoruba and many West African traditions the Iroko is among the most sacred trees: ancient, indestructible, inhabited by forest spirits, respected as a living elder. Dual top handles, a concealed backpack system, curved arc slash cuts at the lower corner and tonal fringe that reveals its depth only in motion.
