    A threshold is the liminal space — the doorway between worlds. Slim and elongated in smooth matte black, the THRESHOLD is defined by its S-curve wave flap closure, echoing the Sankofa symbol of Akan tradition: the principle of returning to one's origins in order to move forward. A rigid angular top handle in lacquered metal creates a triangular architecture above the body, and a length of hand-braided brown leather cord knots at the handle and falls free.
